Sunday's Performers
Pat Kane
Pat Kane is a seasoned showman, being a singer, dancer, actor, and instrumentalist since childhood. On his farm in the hill country of the Canisteo River, he was raised in the traditions of the Grange and of his Irish family. Pat’s cousins still run the family farm in West Clare, Ireland, which Pat visits often. Hence, the name of the band, and his company, West o’Clare.
PAT KANE IS A HARDWORKING, FULL TIME SOLOIST who may entertain for hours without a break or repeat. On fiddle, guitar, and bodhran, he plays jigs, reels, square dances, and hundreds of ballads from Ireland and America.
He has written many fine songs and knows a host of modern selections as well. Pat is often called “the best there is” and has twice won first place for singing at the NYC Fleadh Cheoil. He has produced a good number of albums, hosts a weekly radio show in Elmira, New York.
Pat is a gifted dance instructor and caller, for squares, ceili, and other styles. He often dances and calls at the same time, or can also fiddle and call at once.

Grassanova
Over the last several years ‘Grassanova’ has been delightling their listeners with its own blend of acoustic music. ‘Tom & Marie’ have joined forces with R. J. Siegers and Jim MacWilliams to form an exciting and dynamic acoustic sound in New York’s Southern Tier. ‘Grassanova’ plays solid traditional bluegrass as well as popular songs done in a bluegrass/newgrass style, and they’ll throw in a few other musical styles such as swing, blues, and early jazz just for fun.

Gibson Girls
The Gibson Girls are an acoustic duo of Kellie Mosher and Christine McGill. Their incubation took place around the kitchen table with many musical friends. Over time, a unique sound and friendship began to arise from the musical circle with a collection of songs that evoke memories of life's experiences, friends, and loved ones lost. Their selection is an unlikely yet stimulating mix of music from childhood AM radio, traditional country, folk, rock, punk, and popular music. An evening with the Gibson Girls is characterized by harmony, humor, and the occasional surprise of friends who join in to provide a fresh experience for all.
Tom & Marie
"Tom & Marie" is a duet with a problem. The problem is they like all kinds of music; whether it be rock&roll, country&western, folk, blues, bluegrass, the standards, and so forth. So how do they describe to folks that ask "What kind of music do you play?" Well, the answer is this. "We play music for the pure fun of it, and if we can make it sound good on acoustic guitar and bass, then we'll add it to our set list. Hopefully we'll play a few tunes that you'll enjoy listening to, and maybe those tunes will get you tapping your feet and singing along." So, if you're out and about, hopefully on occasion you'll cross paths with "Tom & Marie" and take the time to have yourselves a dose of music for the fun of it.
